Some of the cabins have
waterfall features so you can go to sleep listening to the water. All you
need to bring from home is your own bath towels and a bar of soap.
Each cabin has a picnic table and a nice grill outside. You will need to
bring charcoal and a lighter. There is a state law against any other fires
on the ground in this area.
Each cabin has a kitchen
with a microwave, toaster and a Mr. Coffee. The queen beds have electric
mattress warmers for our chilly nights in addition to electric heat in all
cabins. We have one large cabin with a gas log fire place.
RATE INFORMATION:
There are so many variables, different size groups, different size cabins, number of cars, different seasons that we are publishing the couples rate which is easier and ask that you call us or use the quick reservation form if this does not fit you and your group. REMEMBER we are the premier place in the mountains, the highest elevation lodging in the state, with the most privacy. And cozy, comfortable cabins, several with small waterfalls at the front door to lull you to sleep at night. Don't wind up staying down in the flat country with no peace and quiet and having to drive all over to get to the places you wish to see. We are right in the middle of it all; walk into two different state parks off our driveway. We are waiting to make this get-a-way your best in a long time.
SEPTEMBER thru end of DECEMBER (except major holidays) Sundays thru Thursdays a one bedroom for two with one car, is only $99.95 and on the weekend is $125.00 per night with a two night minimum, but sometimes we bave just one night available, call and ask. Your seventh night is free for a longer stay and if 1 or 2 kids are along, it is only $10 per night more. COUPLES GET A 10% DISCOUNT.
LARGER cabins for up to 6 people are available, call for details. All 1 bedroom cabins now have WI-FI, so bring your laptop, if you wish. There is an Ethernet cable available on the front porch of the office.
From January 51b, through February & until March 181b: a one bedroom for two, with one car, on a weekday Sunday to Thursday, is only $69.95, with a two night minimum and on the weekend is $99.95, with a two night minimum. If one or two kids are along, it is only $10. more per night with a two night minimum Occasionally, we’ll have a one night cabin available, just call and ask. We do not charge a clean up fee as long as you leave everything clean as you found it and put away.
The holidays like Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years are a wonderful time to be in the mountains. In winter you don't have the crowds on the trails and you can see and hear things that you would walk right past in the summer. The cabins all have bed heaters on the queen beds and have either gas or electric log fireplaces, so they are real cozy with flannel sheets and quilts. The state takes good care of the roads so don't worry about that; we have only been ice/snow bound twice in 10 years.
