There are a variety
of activities around us. With 5 State Parks in the
surrounding areas, there will be lots of things and activities to keep
everyone happy.
- Horseback
Riding: We have 2 outfitters who can take you horseback
riding in the mountains by reservation.
- Weddings:
Call us for more information on what is available
in the area. We can assist you with your wedding or honeymoon plans.
- Golf:
There are four wonderful courses within a few minutes of our cabins.
- Mountain
Biking:
N. C. has a new park just for bikers and it is just down the road!
- Hiking:
We are surrounded by five state parks with over 100 miles of trails available
for your hiking pleasure.
- Fishing:
Fly fishing streams close at hand stocked and native!
- Canoeing,
Paddle Boats & Swimming:
all near by.
- Birding:
A great place to watch all kinds of birds. Caesar's
Head Park, next door, has programs.
- Wine Tasting:
A 47 acre site chosen for its elevation and unique soil structure to grow and produce Vinifera wines

- Rock Climbing:
Fun and exciting adventure in the beautiful Pisgah National Forest, tailoring to families, beginners, and experienced climbers.
- Self-guided Oconee Nuclear Station tour:
Discover the world of energy - learn how energy is generated using water, coal and uranium. Free of charge
and located on the beautiful shores of Lake Keowee. Perfect for kids!
